Site Plan

PPK and its team of consultants created a plan that will act as a catalyst for the City of Doral and its stakeholders to realize their vision of transforming an economic opportunity into an Artisan Village that will house the world renown Doral Tile and Marble Industry.  The plan will focus on the creation of a human scaled environment with a unique “sense of place”. The plan will build on existing business and encourage new supportive uses, such as residential, artist lofts, and professional offices to create a vibrant neighborhood.  The scope includes the design of entry gates, signage, the widening of sidewalks, and trolley stops.  PPK also consulted with the City on enhancing the zoning code to create development incentives for the district. The geographic area included in this scope generally encompasses the area in the vicinity of Northwest 79th Avenue from Northwest 25th Street to Northwest 36th Street.  The firm has been retained to provide design and construction documents for the construction of entry monuments.
